FLOATING CARRIAGE by Saysha Pointer
My first memory of the blobfish
came from a dear friend whose name I forget.
Thoughts brought up to my mind. The main one
is as if you were hugging a needle touched by a porcupine.
People called it drooly and told it to put a mask on.
Some held it in their cold hands and called it stinky.
The blobfish was clearly mad, if I do say so myself.
Saysha Pointer is 12-years-old. She loves mermaids and dancing. This is her second collection of poetry with Unrestricted Interest. She plans to have her own publishing company when she grows up.
