TODAY THERE IS A LAMP IN MY THROAT by Mark Eati
The magical wonder
Of life sourcing
Of deliberate witnessing
Today There Is a Lamp in My Throat is Mark Eati's third chapbook. Mark (he/him) co-wrote his first two chapbooks with his sibling Max. He scribed these poems to nurture himself and to share his being with others.
From the author: I am a nonspeaking neurodivergent. I write on many topics: spirituality, leadership, disability, organizational growth, fiction, integrative wellness, arts, sensory balance, nature, cooking, astronomy, animals and birds. My writing was featured in Chris Martin’s book May Tomorrow Be Awake: On Poetry, Autism, and Our Neurodiverse Future. I also enjoy public speaking and presentations. With my sibling Max, I am a co-founder of two nonprofits, Autism Sibs Universe and Alapa, working to build and support neurodiverse communities. You can find more of our work at growourjoy.org.
